To help appease the watch gods, the wife and all others that have called for- nay, demanded- a sacrificial lamb, this is regrettably on offer. My photos don't do justice to this one, a nice example of a difficult super sub to source. There's some lume aging to hr, min and chrono second hands, an easy fix if so inclined, but all told its really in wonderful shape, clean, running well and with no (other) visible flaws. I- the interested parties aformentioned- need $6250 +shipping and paypal. Ugh. One last, recent (better?) pic:
Thanks, gents! I expected lots of early interest on this rara avis. Summertime blues? Last one in lesser condition traded near 7k. Alas, perhaps merely listing it is enough to satisfy the powers that be....
Well, if that's the case, add a zero, quick! This price is still plausible. Honestly, in a situation like this, you'll want to retain the services of a non-sales professional @Event horizon
Sorry Larry your being too nice and polite if you are trying to sell the watch. Try a few swear words and intimidation to spice this sales thread up. Don't pussy foot around you have to downright goad them into buying the watch, try something like this.. Anyone with less than a 7" wrist need not apply it will just snap you like a dry twig with your girly arms you ponces. This is a mans watch boys needn't bother. Zenith a real mans watch, dweebs, dorks and dickheads are exempt from wearing such a fine timepiece. Anyway less of the niceties, derision and threats are your friends on this forum.
My wife told me that I need to be "open to offers." In light of that brief converation, I'm open to offers above $6245! Sharks need not swim about, there's no blood in these waters (yet).
I've never bumped before and feel strange doing so. Perhaps my near sob story of wife forced sale has kept the truly interested parties on the sidelines; perhaps my somewhat flip efforts to hawk this rara avis have met with disfavor; perhaps my shitty photos of said rare chrono bird have done little to promote wife's cause. Apologies to all here and to wife and watch at home. I tried.... Last call, no more bumps for me. Should, perhaps, add this version for the Brooklyn hipsters among us...
Don't worry. We are standing by you in these troubled times! Of course we will refrain from leading you into the temptation of a firm offer. .
You're safe here Larry. No WIS wants to be thought of in the same way as a certain dentist and become the pariah of the watch world. I shall now think of your A3736 as Super Sub-Sea Cecil.
