Your opinion of the originality of this circa 1949 Omega cal. 332?

    Hi -

For some time I've had a growing interest in vintage Omega watches. Unfortunately, my knowledge is quite limited. I came across this forum while researching an Omega that is described to be a caliber 332 with original dial from the early 1950s. I'd appreciate all comments about whether this watch appears to be factory original. If you care to remark on the fair market value of the watch, that would be great.

One thing that jumps out at me is that the watch case seems to be i remarkably clean, almost pristine. The dial seems to me to be very nice when compared with other original dials from the same era, but it has obvious signs of wear. Can a protected dial show more wear than the watch case?

    Thanks,

    Joe
