Elf is my favorite these days, I don't get tired of it. It's so good, even Zooey Deschanel can't ruin it.

Interestingly, my favorite Christmas movie as a child apparently did not stand the test of time. It was called The Christmas that Almost Wasn't. I don't really recall the plot, but I know I wanted to see it every year, in the theatre if possible.

How about….

The original a Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim as Ebenezer Scrooge (1951)

And Blackadder’s Christmas Carol (1988) staring Ebenezer Blackadder….

Die Hard and Polar Express (usually not as a double feature though)

My dad always read Polar Express to me as a kid on Christmas Eve and when the movie came out, we were stunned at how much Tom Hanks sounds like my dad . People knock the animation, but it's very true to the original illustration style of the book.

heh, I have to do a double post to add the Seinfeld "Festivus" episode. I made a donation to the Human Fund after watching it today lol.

A Festivus for the rest of us! Who's up for an Airing of Grievances?!? 😜

I don't really have any. If I ever had one that I watched regularly it was the 1951 Christmas Carol, but every broadcast of it these days is colourized, which a absolutely detest.

If we happen to catch it, I will always watch Christmas Vacation, or Die Hard. The only thing my wife and I have committed to watching over the holidays is to binge all seasons of "You're The Worst" as it's one of our favourite shows...
