    This was purchased for 50 cents.... Canadian that is, so about $0.38 usd with today's exchange rate to make the deal sound even more sweet!

    WOW! My dad worked for Shopgoodwill for awhile and in a random box of jewelry someone had donated an Omega Seamaster from 50s all original

    I bought this Certina at a yard sale for $2.00. She was asking 50 cents, but I didn't have 2 quarters. When she offered my change, I told her I was glad to pay $2.00. $200.00 later, including a refinished dial and re-chromed case, it is a favourite. image.jpeg

    Just plain luck. When your driving by a yard sale just pull over and spend 10 seconds seeing if they have any wrist watches. You need to know how to spot obvious fakes, even it its in a grey area for you and your not sure it it's legit or fake spending 0-5 bucks is not that bad of a gamble.

    Also you gotta use a poker face so the person does not get wise of hat they have.
