I have a “good” camera but frankly I can’t be shagged pulling it out for the occasional web posting, so my phone is the tool of choice. Mostly they’re just “meh”, but I did particularly like this one recently.

This is sort of sad isn't it?
I have a Nikon DSLR and used to dabble in photography quite a bit.
I use that camera MAYBE a couple times a year when a few years ago I was using it every day!
But that was also in college when I had more free time, and after that I was living in Manhattan so there was more stuff to photograph.
But the cameras on phones now are good enough that it is just so much easier to use it instead of my DSLR.

As they say, the best camera in the world is the one you have with you when you need it.

I have used an iPhone (various iterations) for every one of the photos posted here and other watch forums over the years. Majority are unaltered, but some with post-processing using various editing apps. I have learned, through trial and effort, how to best use natural light and the optimal times to take advantage of same (google "golden hour in photography"). Sometimes I just shoot and post, and damn the quality. Pretty much the same for family photos, vacations, etc. I do use an SLR for some pre-planned portraits and landscape shots, but those are very few and far between.

What ever method you use - just keep the photos coming, here and elsewhere on OF. Love me some watch photos!
