By no means do I consider myself a photographer ...but I do like this pic of my new Speedy Gonzales that I took at the local Dunkin' Donuts on one of the simulated burl wood table tops.

My first try at a nice shot of my new watch with an actual camera; all others were shot with an iPhone.

Inspiration was a photo of a lunar lander in lunar orbit. The mirror was a last second idea (sorry for distortion).

A few pics during a recent long layover in BWI (Baltimore, MD)...

Pilot A: "Hey, dude...wanna go to the strip club?"

Pilot B (me): "Oh, no thanks...I'm going to take pictures of my watch."

*short pause*

Pilot A: "Are you freaking serious?"

Pilot B (me): "Yes."

*long pause*

Pilot A: "Wow."

Attending a strip club and taking watch pics are not mutually exclusive. Your pics are fine but can't help to think that the background to the Speedy would have been improved upon...

I find myself staring into this far too often. It's the 1861 movement from my 3572.50.

I hear you.

I recently took ownership of a new Moonwatch with the Hesalite crystal and the conventional back since I wanted to stay on the more basic side...but I was thinking that when I have my Moonwatch serviced in the prescribed 4-5 years, having the sapphire back (that you pictured above) installed. Seeing the Delrin brake (inside my Moonwatch) wouldn't bother me in the least bit...it is what it is.

Nothing wrong with options!

Ok maybe not the greatest photo quality, for me with this one it's the subject matter 馃榾

I thought I'd have a go at something just a little unusual. I have only used the tablet's camera as frankly it is much easier for downloading. Anyway the composition seemed appropriate.

Not so much a picture of a watch as a picture of a movement. My 18-jewel Rolex Prince Observatory from 1933.
