Reason I'm asking is I have the seamaster deville without the deville 1961, which from my knowledge Omega didnt start putting the deville at first until maybe 1963? Not sure

I am not certain of my Seamaster deVille’s manufacture year. My guess is 1966. My understanding is that Omega started the deVille line under the Seamaster umbrella in 1960. However, they inscribed “Seamaster deVille” from 1963 to 1966. In 1997, Omega created the separate DeVille line from Seamaster. I regret that ’m not much help.

No, that's quite informative actually. I was wondering when the "deville" started and only guessed 1963 because in the series Mad Men, Don Draper wore the same Omega Seamaster Deville with black dial, but not until the story goes through 1963 onwards, in fact i think it was past 1965 when he started wearing one. Thanks!!
