Your Best Watch Pictures

Let's see'em guys. As Pat Benatar said "hit me with your best shot". (I'm such an 80's nerd sometimes 😟 )

I'll throw out a few to start.

This was shot free hand - no tripod with the watch on my wrist. The light in my bay window is pretty good for catching the mother of pearl dial. I'm waiting to use this in a Breitling masthead contest.

This shot has just the right amount of reflection. It could be better - I could have gotten a better angle so the date shows in the cyclops evenly - but it shows off the dial furniture nicely.

Gotta include this since it won a Longines masthead contest.

This last one is not mine - it's by Chaotic Bliss, a multi-forum member who hardly drops in anywhere any more. Pity too, because this is a great shot.

Some photography experiments with my copy stand. I also managed to hit the size limit on OF. The second watch is the one I gave my dad after I cleaned it so technically it is his, although he shows no interest in it. I messed up the calendar and it jams on the date change. These are probably my two best watches.

Taken 4 1/2 years ago.
My Tag Heuer Aquaracer and a 1949 Bentley.
My missus Polo and I went out in the Bentley later with the owner/driver for a drive round the Yorkshire Dale's and a stop off at one of the best country pubs in the UK.

I know, I know, I should have taken those silver coins out for proper shots. But, some packages might break in that process I won't.
