Holiday snaps, fortunate to take a visit to the restricted area beneath the Millau Viaduct, highly recomended.

I am a Lecturer in 'Creativity & Design in the 21st Century', & this was always a superlative example of 'Period Design' with a twist.

Can I ask what photographic 'Image Editing' suites people use ?

I see a lot of good images on here, that could be very simply, enhanced further, sometimes dramatically, just by raising brightness / lifting contrast
& 'sharpening' the image.

All digital images should be 'sharpened' anyway, as a matter of course, purely to maximise the resolution / clarity - If for no other reason than to justify your investment, both in the watch, & camera originally.

If anyone is not using an editing suite, & wants to try one out - www.pixlr.com has a free online editing suite - I recommend it, to those of my Design Students, who do not possess Photoshop.

You can upload an image from your own computer - work on it - and then save it back to your computer - It is not 'Rocket Science'

However, if anyone has problems understanding what to do - Contact me - No point being an Advertising Photographer for 25 years, & not being able to pass some skills on.

I'm always up to learning something new. I use Irfanview for quick and dirty application of filters, TheGimp for more complicated manipulation and very good filters, and photoshop for the times that I want to slam my head in a door.

Started off with PS2.5 back in the 90's now on version 14 - think that's about as far as I want to go.

Strange always shot with Nikon but just cant get on with their software

Nikon's weakness has always been their software.

Converted to Leica this year, after decades of Sinar / Linhof / Hasselblad / Mamiya 6x7 / Pentax 6x7 / Nikon DSLR

Frankly, Leica lenses, fully open, are sharper than reality....Nearly approaching the sheer resolution quality of an old 10 x 8 Ektachrome transparency.

Even the Compact DLux 6 hammers the comparable competition into the ground. - I now carry one everywhere. - Small enough for a pocket & less intimidating, 'in your face', than an SLR

When you drop a Leica file into Photoshop - It actually seriously struggles to improve the original file.

Too much money in Nikor Glass to contemplate a change at my advanced age😀

My first and (so far) only Omega. The Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m Co-Axial Chronograph. Together with my very first watch: the steel hilfiger and my Edox. But of course the Omega is my most precious one!😀

My first post and pic. Had the watch about a year.
Took the pic with my galaxy S4. Where I was sitting
the light seemed just right for a picture.

Hi there! That's a better picture than I used to get with my digital Sony over a decade ago. Man, phone cameras have come a long way.
