As far as polishing and lume are concerned, I have the same fears. The seller claims the watch is untouched and Lume would match perfectly under UV. But he can't send any pictures because he is on vacation. Who could not be convinced? ;-)

Even that would not be a good proof, that it's not relumed.
As a side topic: how to recognize that lume is original on a watch? It's clear that it depends from model to model and how is it done. But are there any hard criterias that always count? For me as a non-expert, this is very difficult to classify.
I think sometimes people are too afraid of watches. The lume on this MAY have been re-done but it also MAY NOT. Who knows for sure? If it has been re-done it looks like it was done very well. If it has been what is the real effect on value compared to a watch in identical condition with an awful original lume? Again who can tell if it is unpolished? If it has been it has been done well. It's a good looking example and if I was in the market for one I would not be overly concerned with this one. The movement, bezel and bracelet are right for the age and it supposedly comes with an extract. Not sure what more buyers really want as there are very few 100% correct examples out there.
