I briefly thought about shortening mine to PVT-PUB, Then realized that won’t look very good as a license plate. And I’d probably get pulled over a lot.

Thanks. The logo is both custom and has significant meaning…I was a nasal radiator [naval aviator] in a previous life. Also, I’m a member of a nasal radiation [naval aviation] forum where my call sign is also Mad Dog…and OF member @ChuckMK23 (who is also a member of the same nasal radiation [naval aviation] forum) had that Lands’ End shirt made for me.
What’s the story behind your call sign? Were you ever given a different one?

The Mad Dog call sign was well after Navy active duty and Navy reserves [1986-1998]…I self-assigned the Mad Dog call sign when I joined the naval aviation forum in 2014 because I was flying the MD-88/90 [aka the Mad Dog] at Delta at the time. When I joined OF in 2015, I decided to use Mad Dog again since I was still flying the MD-88/90…I try to keep things simple since I’m a simple guy.

Also, I had a few different call signs assigned while flying in the Navy on active duty…one of them in particular will not be mentioned here since it could get me banned due to it being offensive…but it was definitely my favorite. One of the lesser offensive call signs I was assigned while at the squadron [and on deployment] was Butthead [derived from Beavis & Butt-head]...and it still sort of bugs me that the patch vendor forgot the hyphen. I guess I sometimes act like Butt-head so I guess that’s why that one was assigned. I was also assigned the call sign Wayneman [derived from Rainman]…my last name is Wayne and I supposedly have some ‘peculiar’ behaviors so I guess that’s why that one was assigned.

Pic from several minutes ago…

Yeppers…I was thinking PVT-PUB could be construed as your vehicle being a private pub…or maybe even being construed as private puberty…not sure what’s worse. Good job NOT doing PVT-PUB as a plate…take the rest of the day off…with pay. 👍

I put almost 30 seconds of thought into mine and would change it if allowed. So, no.
