My wife has a few mechanical watches. Nomos Tetra is probably the one she wears the most:
What a lovely watch!

We bought these matching Tags in the early 90s. My wife lost hers in a Quebec City washroom. It was a hot July day and she took it off to wash her hands. (I am not sure why). When she realized that she forgot to put it back on, she ran back to find it. As she was walking back empty wristed, a mime began walking behind her, doing his best imitation of her disappointment. My wife turned around and said: « Piss off! ». I am not sure if the mime understood English, but he did read body language well enough to back off. We bought her a replacement watch soon after. We wear them very rarely. .

Wife and I's are getting matching Milanese straps from Watch Gecko for Christmas.

I think the 300MC lends itself almost perfectly to the bracelet, maybe more so than the actual NTTD watch (and saves scratching my OEM bracelet up anymore. That can now be retired to special occasions).

I was curious how one would look on her De Ville. Think that looks ok too, looks better in person than in the quick photo. Not perfect Omega OEM quality, but for the price, I'm impressed enough.

Pics are just making sure they fit, as I hate to have to send one back after it was the wrong size Christmas Day.

Sure I mentioned in a previous thread my dearly beloved also has this Bulova which she loves but somehow the bracelet seems to have shrunk 😉

Wife just bought a Cartier Ballon Bleu today. It took forever (the sales woman was really nice and talked a lot) so I browsed the men’s watches and tried on a few. The Ballon Bleu in 40mm was really nice but probably a little too “delicate” fir my taste. The Santos was nice but somehow didn’t fit me that well. The Tank Louis Cartier however was perfect but the price was not 🙄 In 10 years time perhaps…

Wife just sent me a wristshot. She needs to work on it but alright I guess for a newbie 😁

My girlfriend of five years took a fancy to this old Bulova I had when we started dating. It wound up being hers until this past year when she gave it back after we broke up.

The Croton is owned by my most recent girlfriend, she read about the radium girls and decided she needed a radium dialed watch so I went looking and this is what I came up with. The picture was the seller's .

The £3 9crt gold Record. I caught her yesterday about to plunge her hands into the sink with it on . " Noooo" I yelled in alarm. "Oh , is it not waterproof " she replied!!

My current wife ( t.b.h. my one and only 🥰) wears this Seiko 24/7 and I wont go in to what I have to do to clean it 🤦
Having said that I always like the look of it on her wrist 👍

My wife has a quite petit wrist which allows her to wear both vintage women's watches and men's vintage watches having smaller case diameters....and look good doing it....indeed, more than a few of my vintage watches seem to have migrated to her collection. Below are some of her vintage pieces.

Thankfully for our budget, there's only one watch obsessed person in our home, and it's not her! She's a Graphic Designer and works with color a lot, so I got her this mechanical Timex Todd Snyder PRIDE watch recently. The dial has a translucent color wheel disc rotating above the dial like a second hand. So each section gradually changes into different colors. She's wearing it pretty regularly so it appears I chose well.

She came home with a very nice black dial Seiko 5 and a colourful Skagen. She does not know much about the brands. Buys what she likes. Skagen still has plastic over the crystal.

Straying from the thread title and probably/ certainly not for the first time, a piece one of my daughters wears often as she truly loves it.
A gift that will never be forgotten from a fellow forum member 🥰

I mentioned my spouse’s favourite watch, earlier in this thread. It had been laid up for several years for need of parts, and I am a procrastinator. I acquired this one for her 32 years ago. She had been adamant that she didn’t want a Rolex. I adjusted the bracelet for her so she could wear it, and she put it on. The following day, it became her favourite watch, and remains so. She’s had it back now for about two months.

Mrs. Darlinboy 🥰 wears an Apple watch daily - to track her workouts and sleep/health stats (and so do I BTW).

But her go-to favorite references in the analog world are her AP 15450ST, and (used-to-be-mine 😒) Rolex 116610LN...

I've been enjoying this thread but until this morning, lacked photos to share my OH's collection. Other than the Apple watch, this should be complete, at least as of today.

This was the daily wearer I bought her for Christmas back in 1994 or 95 when she wanted a watch that she could wear in the pool while she swam laps. We didn’t have a lot of money and this was the most affordable watch I could find with a sapphire crystal and screw down crown. All I have done is change batteries and she only stopped using it at the pool a few years ago when I told her that the water resistance may be questionable.

A size 12 GF Waltham hunter with an opal slip chain.

Her 2008 quartz Seamaster that goes with my 2008 2254.50.

A 1950's Wittnauer GF cocktail watch.

A 1960 manual wind, GF Doxa Graphic.

A 1970 Omega GF coctail with case and warranty booklet.

A 1990's solid 14k case and bracelet Movado with diamond bezel.

A 1950's radium dial 30mm Invar military watch. I bought 4 from a OF member that came with the original leather straps. They were sold as NOS and there wasn't a bend in the straps or a mark on any of the watches. The golden radium glows bright and my wife, daughter and I each have one that are serviced and used. I have one extra that I will sell when I get around to it.

My wife got me started on my journey with watches and her collection is better than mine. I have more pieces because of all my turtles and micro brands but from a quality standpoint she is still streets ahead.
