I realize I mixed up two of my wife's Dubey watches. She has one automatic (ETA movement) and one manual wind (hand engraved AS 1727).
I guess they used to be really expensive. The cases, dials and hands are really nice.
I bought all of them pre-owned, all from sellers on Yahoo auctions Japan or Rakuten.
The manual wind was around 350 euro. The automatic around 500 euro. The cushion case men's watch was around 700 euro.
I services all 3 watches. One of the nice things is that Dubey & Schaldenbrand will still sell parts directly, if they have stock.
I remember when I first got into watches in the late 90s, Dubey was a reasonably popular brand with its own following. After the company changed hands, it seems they have gone in the wrong direction...
