·First, huge thanks to those who continue to share their expertise on watch mechanics, and in this case (see what I did there?), the Dubois Depraz module.
While checking out a new DD/2892 powered chrono at an AD yesterday, the pusher that engaged the chrono needed to be depressed damn near into the case with just a light, rather wimpy click. When stopping and resetting the chrono hand, the top and bottom pushers both had the expected satisfying click.
Is this engaging the chrono 'mushiness' typical of these modular movements? Again, this is a brand new watch.
My only experience with chronos is the 7750, 7760 and the rather venerable 1861, so this pusher action or feel seemed odd to me.
Thanks!!
