Yes, this just f-ing happened......a mini version

    So I cruise several on line auctions for boxes of watches / parts for sale. This one came up as at $49.99. Box of 60 quartz watches.

    After studying for about 5 sec. The watch at the bottom had a vintage looking strap but still could have been a generic imitation chrono worth nothing. $50? Why not take a chance. Plenty of salvageable straps and crystals there that would be worth it.
    So the box came in today. 60 watches as advertised. All $5 specials at the flea market. Except for the 3 register Gallet. NICE!
    It's no Polaris but still a diamond in the rough. Running and keeping time.
