Anyone have a line on where I might be able to pick up one of these straps for my Gen 2 X-33? I think I’d like to try one, especially the Coramide. I’ve been haunting the usual spots (eBay, etc). I know Ofrei used to carry them, but we know the story there. Any help would be appreciated, as always.

Let me dig into the safe and double check, but I believe that I have one that I might part with. I'd have to figure out a fair price, and need to check the condition and get pics, so since I'm about to head for bed in an hour it might be 11-12 o'clock tomorrow when I get started on this. I think mine is the coramide with the double hump, size long.

If you'd like a new one, Omega still stock them - just contact your closest boutique.

Thanks, I’m going to check with the local Omega sho
Thanks, I’m not sure what size the Large is (my wrist is just under 7”). Let me know, appreciate it.

I didn’t realize that—I thought since they didn’t show them on the Omega site that they no longer made them. I’ll give mine a call. Thanks for the tip.

My wrist size is around 7'' and the one I bought from AD only fits pretty tight (somewhere the pre-last/last hole at the buckle pending on what the weather says). But it was a Kevlar strap (Ref. 98000071), not the coramide you've mentioned. Now I've learned that gaining two other centimeters means ordering the L-version of it (98000071L) which would take me another 140€ out of pocket

I think for that price I’d live with a slightly undersized strap. That is one bright red.

That's my thinking, wouldn't buy an additional one to replace this one just for sizing. But the next one will be the L-version, for sure :)

Colourwise pends on what light the strap is exposed to.
This one is borrowed from a thread I wasn't able to find again right now, assumingly done under artifical light:

and this is mine under daylight (welcome to reality)

My X33 on green. This is the L version as my wrist is 7 3/4"

I use a Hirsch sport clasp instead of the normal buckles. I find these fit nice and reduce the wear and tear on the strap holes, and also significantly less chance to drop the watch when putting it on

Hmm, that’s really a rust color—I like it better under sunlight. And that green is sweet, I didn’t even know that color existed.

Sorry, I forgot all about this. Life, you know? I'll try to dig it out and get the details soon.

Sorry for the late response, but I just picked up the double bump coramide strap from Cousins UK. This was the strap used on the Gen1 X-33, but it’s just as good on the Gen2. I put mine on a butterfly deployant. It’s not the most supple strap, but it’s comfortable and gives the watch a bit of heft.

I'm sure it has been asked before, but will this G1/G2 strap properly fit a G3?

I moved the titanium bracelet from the G2 to a G3 and it fit perfectly. I installed this strap on a G2 and it fit. So —- I think you’d be ok to install this strap on a G3.

Thanks. Got the last one for now.

What do you use for a buckle, if you don't mind another question? EDIT - Nevermind, I see.

    I used a butterfly deployant from mywatchmaker.net

    http://www.mywatchmaker.net/deployantclasp.htm

These are about the best I’ve found, and fits perfectly. The holes in the strap are quite small in diameter, and most tang buckes I had were just a bit too wide. The deployant fits great.

These straps are great. I put the green one on my Speey Pro for quite some time. After switching back to a nato I've now misplaced it. :(

After ordering on May 30th, my Coramide finally arrived (delayed due to the virus I'm pretty sure). It was caught up in the USPS since June 3rd or so.

It works very nicely with the Skywalker:
