Wyler Railroad Approved

Up today is my Wyler Railroad watch.

There were only a handful of companies that made Railroad Approved wrist watches, and Wyler was one, using their ETA based Incaflex movement rather than an electric movement like several others- one of the very few manually wound fully mechanical Railroad wrist watches.
Dial is one of the most easily readable on the planet with its classic bold black numerals on white enameled dial with red 24 hour scale and second hand with black spade hands.

Case measures 34x40x9.25 retaining its original finishes, signed crystal and crown.

The watch sits low and comfortably on the wrist due to its downturned lugs- this watch is a pleasure to wear.

It winds, sets and runs beautifully, keeping excellent time, but I have not had it serviced during my time with it. Case shows minor scuffs and marks, crystal has a few scratches that can be easily polished out. Please note that what appears as spots on the dial are the sun casting shadows of scratches on the crystal- the dial is flawless.

Watch is being sold head only, but I can throw it on an inexpensive strap if you wish to wear it out of the box.
Price is $250 shipped within conus- out of the US we can discuss options. Payment via PayPal F&F or add 4% for regular PayPal and I can send a request. No returns unless grossly misrepresented.
I buy far more than I sell but I have sold a few here and traded many, so have some feedback in the members section and I can provide references.

Thanks OF for the space, any questions feel free to ask

Very similar to my Ball RR Approved 24 hour watch.. And 1/2 the price.
Mrs. Gemini adopted mine as her goto travel day watch. 24 hour clock is very helpful.

What condition is the dial? Any scratches on the dial or are those all on the crystal?

I did more than once and didn't see it. Bleh.

Is it manual or automatic wind?

You sure you're looking at the right ad? The info you're looking for is manifestly obvious. Perfect dial and manual wound.
