I know this would have worked better on a Rolex forum, but since I am not going to donate there to post it figured I could fit this here.

For sale an almost mint example of a Rolex Daytona late 2015 coming in its original packing, with a greatly aged chocolate dial. I want to point how this particular reference ages extremely well. If kept under the right conditions it will develop an even patina and show an awesome natural texture on both dial and casing.

Received the watch on New Year's Eve from a good friend, so presenting you now this fine example at the start of April. I have kept the watch sealed and only took it out now for pictures, since the light was particularly suitable on this particular day.

No bite marks, all the imperfections occurred naturally!

    Movement:
No idea; I have 32 tools at my disposal to open it but wouldn't risk damaging the case.
Crystal: not available, would cause serious injury if eaten.
Case: Solid, with multiple marks due to even aging in a controlled environment.
Dimensions: approx. 40 mm diameter. Bracelet is un-sized.
    Caseback: awesome
    Crown and pushers: Original
Dial: Stunning brown chocolate with raised markers, beautiful construction and attention to detail. All patina occurred naturally!
WR: I wouldn't go near water with this one. Seriously.
Original packing and piece of paper attached to the bottom.

Shipment: Personal delivery only, due to nature of content. It is illegal to transport this kind of goods in some countries, and given the delicate nature of the materials used it may require special conditions which I am unable to accommodate.

Special warnings: please check with your doctor if you are allergic to some of the materials used.

Price: EUR 999 999 (LATER EDIT: Sold, my daughter found it and took the first bite! Discovered me as I took the pictures...)

Imagine - someone has actually gone thru the trouble of making a mould for this. OK - having a real one gives you the template for most of it but would not give you the dial. Cudos to the maker.

A very good friend got me this as a New Year's Eve present. He lives in another town and got this from a fair, where a chocolate artisan came with all sorts of designs. Unfortunately I have no idea where to find said seller or get a mold...

I'm not a huge rolex fan, but why would anyone cover an expensive watch in chocolate?

I have a similar watch, with a gilt dial, still in original packaging. MINT, but you have to taste it for yourself to verify

Great use for a fake! Pop out the crystal, mold the entire watch, hit fake with hammer, and start cranking out Chocolate watches.

So that is what sellers mean when they say "minty."

I would be just too concerned wearing out to really enjoy out. The water resistance is problematic in this model.

I am totally shocked that the mods would allow this type of for sale ad in an open rolex forum much less by someone who ONLY has 143 posts. Obviously only certain people have to follow the rules.......:whistling:
