Had to do some conversions. 35 degree C is 95 Fahrenheit. 3500 kilometers is 2175 miles.

The only thing I can’t figure out is why the hell PBS from Vermont is on the telly=TV

Isn’t a good rugby match on

Maybe the show on the telly=TV is to help you feel cool.

    Almost forgot, Guinness=beer=brewski=cold one

Good work. Fortunately, having spent my first 25 years in the UK and the last 26 in the USA, I am a bilingual British-American! so I could understand. In fact, I can convert any number in Celsius to Fahrenheit, and vice-versa, instantaneously without any external aids. That is perhaps the single most useless superpower ever.

And yes, there is almost certainly a good rugby match on!

Ah, Vermont -- that explains it. It is probably snowing there right now, even though it is 100 degF a few hundred miles to the south :D

This explains why it’s 97 degrees in Norfolk right now and my wife is under a blanket on the couch watching a Christmas in July Hallmark movie.

The first time I had to experience Christmas in July, was in KOA campground outside Portland Maine. We had no where else to stay and all of a sudden there was this parade thing going on. It would stop for an hour or so then start again. It went on the entire time we we there. Christmas in July is what they called it. Effin stupid @$&%$&#+=/; dumbass Americanism is what it really was.

Ho Ho Ho, for you folks living in the northern hemisphere, your Christmas in July with 35C is like our normal Christmas on December 25.
If we want a Xmas that isn't hot and sweaty (talking about the weather ;)) in Australia it's either an overseas trip or Christmas in July (also called Yulefest). Plenty of hotels, resorts, and restaurants put special events on this time of year. Being Australia, you're still not likely to get snow except in a handful of mountain locations but you can find trees without leaves, brisk weather, open fireplaces and weather conducive to eating good hearty food.
