stainless steel, automatic I have $400 cash right now.. Pls PM me. I am located at Northern Virginia, USA
Have to tell you that $400 won't buy much of a Seamaster or Genève, and it won't get you any kind of decent Constellation - not even a 70's model except for a total beater / parts watch. Upping your budget to $600 will probably be enough to score an okay Seamaster or a fairly decent Genève example from the 60's on eBay but then you'll need a couple hundred for service, a clean-up (crystal, crown maybe), and a probably a new strap. Earlier Genèves, from the mid to late 50's into the very early 60's, were very nice watches; equal or better to Seamasters. And forget about dive Seamasters or Constellations until you get to $700 - and that's for the least desired of them. Go to $1000 - $1500 and up for the better examples of Constellations, and much more for the sought after Seamaster 120's and 300's. Seriously, flaunting "$400 cash" is like walking into a Porsche dealership with $10,000 and making a big deal about it. Sure, you can get a 914…. but who wants one of those glorified Volkswagens?
how about this one, you may need to add a little more cash, http://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-seamaster-165-002.9534
Yes, that's a nice example with a very fair price. Hell, the bracelet alone would sell for around $100 / £60.
ya..maybe I got confused from the vintage forum and a few sold prices, they are price around there because I saw a few people posted a few watches that was on sale on bay, you guys keep saying it's too high etc lol.....then again what do I know. I got 2 watches offer too right now
