So if you lose the bezel from a 60th you can never get a replacement? That would seem a bit much. Many of the 2915 originals were lost. I'd guess as many as 1/3 or 1/2.

And rohnin, thanks, but I have one. If I were to get another LE, I'd get the SM trilogy or the Railmaster, both gorgeous watches, and I love the bracelet. That bracelet is the only one I've ever left on a Speedmaster.

 

Yah, I was honestly kinda surprised as well but also I thought it was quite expected. (Weird ambivalence) Usually things like the FOIS case is an exchange only part, and a surprising number of parts are not exchange only parts.

I admit I would also not know what to do if the bezel popped off though.
