··The ArchitectI'm looking for a Seamaster 120M / 2501, hopefully something like the 2501.81 (blue dial). Preferably a non-quartz model.
The usual Google searches bring up a couple, but they seem very overpriced, which is probably why they're not selling. Dsio mentioned these can go for $400-500USD. This would be the ideal price range if it's possible.
It will be a gift for someone who wears a watch daily, but isn't "in to" them. I'd like this to be their intro to real watches with mechanical movements 😀
Any advice or suggestions of different models of a similar price/spec would also be welcome. Seiko Monster + some of the vintage Seiko dive models are the backup plan.
