SEIKO 6139-7101 Bracelet seeking

yes just curious if anyone may posses a bracelet for a seiko 6139-7101. Doesn’t have to be perfect but I’d like to obtain an original or one close to the said seiko. I’m thinking it was 18mm but it’s currently with my watchmaker and sounds like it’s going to be a while until it’s back with me. So just poking around seeing what’s to see. Thank you.

peace and all good things,
walrus

It’s been so long since I did one of these I forgot it requires mod approval, thanks mods. So i will just bump in on occasion on the off chance someone had a helmet/helmut/Vader bracelet available if not I’ll do leather or something

Just wanted to ensure everyone super duper is healthy and safe but if I don’t get the bracelet for my seiko soon I can’t guarantee her safety. Bump

I’m seeing what I think are “reproductions” of the bracelet on eBay a few from Philippine based sellers I just don’t know if that is a smart way to go or what the quality is like. But now that I’ve threatened my cat to let people know I’m serious I can wait

What you are looking for is called a “fishbone” bracelet by Seiko collectors. Use that term on eBay or a Seiko forum and your search will be much easier.

Originals may cost more than the watch if you can find one. Over time there tends to be a lot of flex in the links and restorations can also be expensive. Originals will have arrows showing the links that can be removed.

Many collectors opt for modern reproductions. The quality on the one I have is probably better than the originals. You want one with 20mm lug width and symmetrical links. Some have “Z050S” engraved on the back. The asymmetrical “Z040S” repros will fit your watch, but are really for the bullhead chronos with pushers on top.

You can find these all over eBay and Etsy. Many have cheesy looking Seiko-like buckles, so it may be worth a few extra bucks to get one with a decent looking repro buckle or try to find a correct vintage original Seiko buckle top.

Hope this helps,

....and a pic of the bracelet you are trying to find?
Oh yeah I never had one with a real bracelet (the 7101) so I was hoping if I put up the watch it would be enough so far I all I can find is pics like @pdxleaf put up but I may just go the cheap route I thought perhaps someone here may have greater knowledge and a box with like 30 extra bracelets laying around but it doesn’t appear to be the case

Not a lot of 20mm fishbone Seiko laying around.
Well I figure that but I don’t like to assume things as I have never seen any surveys or studies on the subject
