My new (to me) Seiko Golden Arnie ref. H558-500a from December ‘84 arrived in the mail today... a long time this one took to travel from Japan to Canada, but I’m just thankful it arrived safely 👍

New arrival - Seiko SPB153 or Captain Willard. My first “mid-range” Seiko and a big jump in quality from the SKXs and Turtles I’ve owned.

Congrats! I really like what Seiko has done this year with this one and the 62mas-like variant.

OK folks, tell me I didn't make a mistake here, (but tell me if I did, if you know what I mean). Just snapped this up off ebay. Should arrive by the end of the week. £225. Seller says it was purchased new last October. Ref says manufactured April 2019.

Desk scuffs, but also has a slight flaw which you can see between dial and bezel at 56 minutes. I'm not bothered about that, unless it seriously diminishes the long term desirability of the watch. It'll be a wearer anyway. Boxed and tags. Seemed like a good price and I do like the watch. Did I do OK?

Goldsmiths are currently selling it for £440 in the UK. Cheapest UK online price seems to be around £350 so I think you did OK.

This 1976 4843-8023 arrived today and I’m so stoked. Grand Quartz are such good value for your vintage buck.

And here it is, just arrived this morning. My nearly new Samurai. Took me a while to figure out how to size it with the pin and collar system (thank you Youtube). I've never owned a watch quite this chunky before. I thought I was going to pull a muscle when I picked it up for the first time, but it feels pretty easy on the wrist. First impressions are positive. It feels like quality.

Hi, I’m new to the Seiko vintage club😀 picked this up this week as it’s a March ‘66 vintage, the same as me. There’s a small ding in the case above the 12 but other than that it seems in good nick! 34mm, so not a big lump.
