SNK809 running at +10 a day & SKX007 running at -5(serviced) which is nuts for a movement that costs less than a nice night out. In my humble opinion Seiko deserves a section of its own due to the many contributions to horology& satisfying collectors at all price points.

I humbly support this motion.

Seikos are superb value for money.

Very happy with my Pogue:

In praise of the humble Seiko lume, to the left is my new Rolex Explorer, 214270, and to the right, is the every trusty and durable Seiko SPB077, AKA MM200 or my weekend “do anything” or “Home Depot” watch.

I charged the Rolex lume, but the Seiko was this bright without a charge.

That watch looks to be in great condition and the dial lume turning a nice cream colour 👍

My most recent pickup is now the only “modern” Seiko in the watchbox... the SZSJ005 was a collaboration between Seiko and Japanese fashion brand Nano Universe. Impressively, the presser fully acknowledged it was heavily inspired by the Rolex Daytona. At least they’re upfront about it 😜

Given the subdial arrangement, I see the Tudor Big Block as well. CA cool little watch running Seiko’s cheap and cheerful mecha-quartz movement, list price was around $250 or so.

The case is really well sized at 39.8mm with a 20mm lug width. A lot of fun for only a little money.

Unfortunate all sold out and it wasn’t made clear if this was an LE or not.

Nice.

I hope they come up with a mechanical version.
