Lesson learned - don't sell one of the best watches you've ever owned...

Now, see if you can buy it back?

I like this upcoming SBEX011, it has 6159 vibe but no gold accents!
Though, hi-beat probably means 8L55 movement so retail price is going to be costly.

Also, mind a watch on bottom left corner, so glad they used the proper hands for this affordable "6RMAS"

Everyone wants a Pogue, but other 6139's are just as nice... 6139-7010:

Trying the new Alpinist, SPB1221 for the first time.

It’s a little small for my usual tastes, but I was intrigued and wanted to give it a go. The strap looks tight in the picture. I am on the final hole, and, even after a few quick minutes, I know it will be going away given its quality.

I’ll post some further notes after some more time with it.

I’m a big fan of the 70’s Seikos. Great how the designers where given a free hand to do some pretty out there ideas that the company brought to production. The movement’s are almost as innovative. Rolex “adapted” this column wheel design for the Daytona.

If you don’t mind me asking what is the size of that watch. I’m looking at one but the guy is a little stubborn on price. They are very nice looking

It is listed as 39.5 mm. My wrist, for reference, is around 21 cm / 8.25” or a little larger where I like to wear my watches. I am an admitted larger watch wearer, but the design of this new Alpinist, and the classic, really intrigued me.

Well it certainly doesn’t look odd I think it sits quite nicely on your wrist if that was a concern. Very nice looking watch.

Thank you! There are some facets to the case and lugs that really give it a nice dimension and contrast from polished to brushed, and the dial with the green and gold is a blast to look at.
