·I’m on the hunt for an 013. They pop up cheap around me but go so quick. I found a bunch of 007 but found them a little big. Gave one away as a gift and sold the others. I know they are supposed to be collectible as seiko is either going to stop or has stopped making it. Sold my presage as well, absolutely loved the dial but lug to lug it was a little too big. I can’t see holding onto to watches if I don’t wear them. I know people hoard them thinking the value will increase in the future but I’d rather make room for something I’ll wear now.

wanted to share my latest two purchases .... absolutely loving them. A new Grand Seiko High Beat GMT and a vintage 6139-7070T „Aquatimer“ Chronograph.
It’s my first GrandSeiko and I am quite impressed!

afaik all SKX are now out of production. 013’s have been scarce for awhile.

The 013 is a heck of a watch if a 007/009 is too big. Although the 42mm does not wear near as big as it would seem.

·Here are 2 of my Seikos. The blue one is a vintage Seiko 7T34-6A09 Men's Chronograph Pilot Quartz Watch that I bought new in a jewelry store as a gift to myself in late 1990 (30 years ago!!!) just a few months after I got out of the army. Still looks great, although I took off the TT bracelet and put on the blue strap a couple of years ago just for kicks. I've replaced the battery a dozen times over the last 30 years and have had this trusty piece in my rotation with my Rolex and Omegas off and on. I have always enjoyed it. Has never missed the beat as long as it had a battery in it.
The second watch my wife bought me new as a Xmas gift in Dec' 2004 as she knew I loved watches. It is a Seiko Chrono with a silver dial that is quite pleasing to the eye, especially when the gun blued hands catch the light. That is hard to see in pics, but the hands are beautiful gun blued. Also, been perfectly reliable as long as I "battery up" every couple of years. Thanks, and hope ya'll enjoy. Seiko is the best of the non-swiss, non-high-end watches, and I have always enjoyed them in and around my Rolex and Omegas.
