These are the Seikos that are not buried in my closet and are in my rotation. By my latest count I have 3 Seiko SKX put away, 2 Seiko Turtles, 1 PADi solar, and 1 Seiko Astron Chronograph. My 1970’s Seiko 5 lost it’s crown and is with the others, and I traded my Seiko with “deep blue” style dial and now regret that.

These are also in my rotation - 3 bottles of Yamazaki 12 yr, 3 bottles of Hibiki, 2 bottles of the Hakushu 12 yr, 2 bottles of Nika Coffey grain, 2 bottles of Iwai, and 2 bottles of Toki. I gave my Kimiki to my son since the cedar smoke reminded him of his visit to Japan’s shrines in January.

Whenever I open a bottle I'll usually buy a spare right away so that I don’t have to ration it by being afraid of running out, since Japanese whisky got to be a bit hard to find in the past year. But then as I expanded into more types of Japanese whiskey it meant having at least 2 bottles of everything until it got out of control.

I only have 1 bottle of Glenlivet and Dalwhinnie since they’re so easy to find, along with a Glenlivet and Glenmorangie sampler box. It’s the easiest way to get my son to come home from college for a visit, by sharing the whiskey, not the watches.

Dangit!

I went to my watchmaker to pick up my Hamilton conservation chronograph after being serviced, and ended up leaving with these too.

So yeah, I ended up buying another “deep blue“ style psycho, errr... Seiko diver, to replace the one I traded.

and this is the Hamilton in question, it was just serviced and then regulated to about +1

Snowflake
The dial texture of these is phenomenal.
I wonder if it's ever appeared before on any other watch.

The power reserve indicator treatment reminds me of a snow angel.

Perhaps a variant with tiny snowshoe tracks and snow angels is called for. No yellow spots though.

If this were on bracelet, i might have considered it. I like my GS on bracelet.

Would you believe there’s a photo of a bracelet for the SBGK on the new dials they are releasing? I’m currently in the process of looking for a bracelet as we speak.

Wow. So GS r&d browses OF? 😀

Would love to see one in the flesh. Or even just a pic for now.

Ive actually been recently fascinated by the Seiko day wheels. Specifically for turtles.

I’ve seen (and have) the following languages together with English used in the turtle day wheel:

1. Spanish - most common in our part of Asia
2. Latin (Roman Numerals)
3. Japanese (Kanji) - on JDMs
4. Chinese
5. French
6. Arabic

Now ive seen a German. Have to have one. Hehe.

I have an Italian, but in a vintage pogue. Not a turtle.

Curious to see a Thai since Seiko is big in Thailand. But the Thai LEs i have use Roman numerals. Was curious about German also since Seiko is big in Germany as well. But now my curiosity is half-satisfied.
