I tried to make this happen today, bought a battery for it and popped it in, sadly still stone dead… I guess it might need a new movement or a donor. The case and bracelet are both ok.

I’ve got a nearly BNIB example of the first ever Seiko digital from the early 70s in its box with papers too but it had a failed movement from the year it was bought, and since it was purchased in Japan there was no warranty in Australia.
