Amphion seems a strange name for a watch. Do you know why they chose it?

A slight twist on the word Amphibian?
Maybe named after the son of Zeus?

EDIT - Right, named after a Submarine class, as my other watch is named after the Naken class of subs.

In Greek mythology Amphion and his brother Asterius were part of Jason's Argonauts.

I googled it. Wiki came up with 3 or 4 Amphions in Greek mythology, but none made sense in terms of horology or diving.

They have a square Hatch gasket in there.
Near the bottom of the page is what looks to be a part number list for gaskets with model number reference.
Thank you, I don't think they have the battery hatch gasket in stock anymore but it's given me a part no. I can search for.

Haven’t posted on the site yet - straying from the Omega postings. But happy to say in a face off I would go Japanese before Swiss

Are you the king of Sumo? Very nice set but I've got to ask, is there another box with more inside, maybe a mod or two?

The NTH range have the names of submarines which, in some way or other, are famous. Probably famous among the submariner community....

That is a extensive collection of 7a38 and later chronographs.
7T34, all of them. Four sundial comprising date @ 3, alarm/time zone @ 6, running seconds @ 9 and chrono 30 minute register @ 12.

Yes there are. But not my mods. Have three mods customized by school organizations.

i can't take the brand seriously. even though i like like several models. you can't brand like they do and expect to have fk off value.

how can you make a $100 watch you see lined up one after another in strip mall showcases and then try and sell me a 2k watch and expect me to be wow'd
