My 1-week-old Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150m 38mm with blue dial on bracelet. My first watch over £500, first chronometer certified piece, first non-diver with a screwdown crown and first 'proper' watch.

It started off running a little fast but now it is slightly slow. I guess its just getting into the rhythm of being on wrist as a new watch? Anyway - I love it. The dial is enchanting and bewitching in various light situations. I have ordered the OMEGA rubber and a bunch of Barton 19mm straps in silicone and leather so looking forward to making this my one-watch collection for the next few years.

(P.S. is the date wheel aligned in the window? I feel like it is sitting slightly left. Noticed this over the last few days.)

There are 31 numbers (1 to 31) around the date ring. Chances are that some dates are perfectly centred, while the odd other one may appear a teeny bit off centre. Even changing the date dial for another one is not likely to eliminate that situation. In my view, it is not a problem, but then it is not my watch. Most watch companies allow in their specifications, small variations like this.

still wearing the old dog, so we'll post some newer pics...

1899 Hampdon Special Railway.

Its a terrible sin but I changed out the dial because I like this one better. The original is in perfect shape and is carefully stored away should it ever be needed.

@DaveK,

Have I seen that watch before?
Indeed you have 😀, but it is too warm in Vancouver today to wear the matching socks

Fellow Naval Aviator @ChuckMK23 stopped by the house with his modern Speedy on the Omega black VELCRO strap...so I switched over to my Omega black VELCRO strap for a Speedy Tuesday pic...and I unfortunately screwed the pooch by not having my Speedy in focus...

Messing around with this old cheap Nikkor 'macro' zoom lens. Should probably do some lens cleaning though...
