First trip to the beach this year. Worthing in UK. A bit (or a lot) too touristy for me 😀

Appears some old dogs just can't be taught new tricks, attempted to add this evenings image to the earlier post 🤬

2-3 years since buying and synchronizing with my radio controlled wall clock.

It has lost 10-15 seconds.

Fits and wears comfortably, probably my widest watch.

Lovely, clean design. Gorgeous matte finish.

EVA anniversary just ahead.

Same here.

Had a quick spell with this bad boy on my wrist as a daily, but just couldn't learn to love it. Seemed to lack quality compared to others, the crown felt almost flimsy, every time I wound it.

So it's back to old faithful, on the rubber strap. I still can't fault this watch, can wear it anywhere and with anything.

So I spent the majority of July in the Galapagos, right on the Equator. A trip I highly recommend to everyone. Amazing animals on land and under the waves. A trip of a lifetime.

I wore my Hodinkee edition Seiko Alpinist, which I thought was kinda funny. All the instructions for using the compass bezel talk about pointing the hour hand at the sun and setting the point halfway between that and 12 as North on the Southern hemisphere and as South in the Northern hemisphere.

So does a compass bezel work at all on the Equator?

In Vancouver for a couple of days, staying at the Fairmont, with an Omega Boutique on site (“don’t you dare jB”, said Mrs.1128)!
Picked up a new pair of shoes for the 3594.50

And also had the chance to try on the Apollo 8 (awesome) but having just bought a new house in Seattle and a jr.1128 arriving in just a few short weeks, I wisely opted to settle for a wrist shot...
