nice one👍 maybe the ref. is 6394Q.



The ref number stamped on the inside of the case-back is 6394; I've seen some examples with the added "Q", but in my case it is not.
It's the only example I've seen with this dial furniture (lume plots on the dial matched by luminous material inside the hands), other references I saw either have Onyx furniture (matching dial and hands) or gold markers, sometimes aligned horizontally along the 12-6 axis.

Tried to research this reference and the cal. K1072/1 movement inside; found examples simply stamped 6394 or 6394Q; however, I didn't notice any particular pattern.

i am a beginner of vintage vc. the case number didnot carved on inside of caseback. maybe on the outside of caseback?

This would be better suited for a short video, but I tried to capture with these stills the reflections off the 6:00 side of the case, showing the "reflection splitting into two" effect. If you've never had a radially brushed pilot case, it's pretty cool to see.
