1967 Eternamatic 3000 in 18ct gold. At the time it was the slimmest automatic wristwatch with a date in the world.
Always sorry to hear of people suffering back and neck pain @Looneytoons . I used to be a bricklayer in my younger days and back pain is a daily battle. This works for me: lay down on your side and apply a cold pack on for 10 minutes, then off for 15 minutes, then apply some moderate heat for 10 minutes, then off for 15 minutes. Repeat that 2 or 3 times every few hours to help with the pain and inflammation. When it eases try and do some very gentle stretches. (Google the 'angry cat' stretch.) Note: If you develop any weakness or loss of sensation consult a Doctor or Physiotherapist for advice. I ain't a cure but it can ease a painful flare up and help the inflammation to settle. You gotta stop throwing fridges and plump ladies around mate! They 'fakked' my back up more than the bricklaying ever did! Hope it eases soon!
@nonuffinkbloke Thanks very much for the advice and the last line made me laugh. I have complete exercise and stretching routines to help with this issue since 2012. Eventually I'll need some type of corrective surgery, but for now it's manageable. I messed up my back working the ramp at LAX ~20 years ago.
Had to go away for a while. Picking up DWW where I left. DWW no 6. You do not float with this one around your wrist. No matter how much helium you put into it.
I'm wearing her today. Just mesmerized by the dial. Don't know how to call it because it's certainly not tropical, but when exposed to the sunlight it has a spectacular brown tint. I guess it's not the only one, it would be cool to see others
