late model Hamilton 992b
with a serial number under 200,000, I'd hardly call that "late", they made well over 500,000 of 'em! Interesting dial though... replacement? melamine?

todays timekeeper...
model 1888 Riverside, serial dates it to about 1894

Hamilton 992B with a 196xxx serial number should have a vitreous enamel dial, I think. Nice 1888!

Its the combat sub got it before they changed the W the to the flying W after Invecta took over Glycine its a great watch. It came with a hideous white leather band

Greetings.
This is the picture of yesterday. However, today I still wearing this one at the moment in my office.
ETERNA-MATIC KonTiki Ref. 130 IT, with Eterna Cal. 1424UD. I am not sure that the dial is original or service dial.
PS. It is the 2nd gift from my grandfather. (The 1st is ETERNA-MATIC KonTiki 20).

Sunday Special

Somehow the “like” button doesn’t seem enough, think we need an “extra-special like” option...

Very Nice Riverside
I'll carry the 992 to right in the picture today
The 992b dates to 1946 good eye the dial is melamine not the greatest dial for a melamine dial it's in fairly good shape. The 992b is in original condition. I like the Hamilton 992's here's a couple older ones. I also have some 993's.

The 992b I posted has a C prefix in front of the serial number, Some say the melamine dial started in 1948 some say 1946 this one proves some were as early as 1946. Melamine is not my favorite dials Since the watch is in original condition I will keep it that way
