New/Old Seamaster 30 Cal. 286 addition called for a swap! Did I mention I love crosshairs? Caseback Courtesy of the fellow member :
Thanks Alex, probably, no certainly the least expensive watch likely to show itself on the forum but it deserves plenty of wrist time
My favorite font for AutomatiC. If you ever decide to move that along let me know. Despite having an 18ct caliber 431, if I don't want it I know I'll be able to find somebody that does (unless a member here jumps on it).
New PAM 338 Titanium. Please excuse the reflections! The "in-house" P.999/1 movement is a thin (thickness of 3.4 mm) manual wind caliber shared with/based on one by Piaget. The watch weighs 70 g and is extremely comfortable to wear, esp. for one measuring 42 mm!
Not seen to many Eterna's in here (Yes I know it is the Omega forum ? Anyway this one is getting wrist time today. Centenaire 2000 ref 165T. A big one from back in the early 70's I guess? 35x42mm square cases have "modern day" presence! Eterna caliber 1480K (basis for the later ETA2433). Came with case, original strap, signed crystal, buckle and instruction leaflet. (The strap has been changed, but original strap has been stored!)
I'm still not sure of the calibre in this one, as it is not one I can open myself and I still haven't seen my watchmaker. I've now got enough sick patients to warrant a visit to my watchdoctor, I'll take this too to confirm what's inside
Switched the strap to a honey matte OEM nubuck, much more to my taste than the black alligator. Matches the gold hands. Switching straps on this model is not for the faint of heart. I was trying very hard not to lose the tiny screws on the case back which release the wire lugs. I won't have to do it again, most likely!
