This waffle dial today Blue skies coming? I keep intending a change to a leather strap, but still enjoying the bracelet.
Today's #SeikoFivesSaveLives featured equipment is Trauma Shears. I always carry my "Prestige Medical" trauma shears in an exterior pocket just above my left knee. Trauma shears are incredibly important even if not used often. When we arrive on the scene of a serious trauma we need to do a full inspection of our patient to find any and all injuries. This often means removal of patient clothing, and not the nice way that preserves it. We slice the clothes right off. I have done a variety of presentations to teenagers and kids of all ages. I always like to start off my trauma speech asking if they have a favorite shirt or pair of pants. And then I tell them if they are hurt bad in an accident it will be cut off. I use this reference to make sure they will wear their seatbelt in cars, and for the drivers, to add one more reason why they should not text and drive. I'm sure there have been plenty of nice watch bands that have been cut in the past as well. Let us have a moment of silence for those cut bands and lost watches. Stay safe out there folks!
I'm so suggestible lately, keeping up with WRUW. Photo taken earlier, but choosing this watch for retirement casual Friday and for a birthday party trip tomorrow.
Alarm... one of the few other brands employing a Vulcain Cricket movement... and more successfully than most Vulcains, if you ask me.
