"The Light & The Shadow". The hour markers look so different , depending on the angle and lighting.

Really want to switch out to my old dial. I never realized how much the (faded?) grey enhances the dial. It's all black here.

The "Silver Arrow" script has to be some of the finest ever put on a dial. Beautiful
Thanks and Agreed! It adds so much to the dial, one of the main draws to this model for me.

Beautiful. Is it generally recommended to get hands repacked so they don't deform?
Mate, could you explained a tat more?

Inspired by @Darlinboy black memovox. I dug up an old pic of a watch I would have been wearing had I managed to find a swan neck regulator for it (cal 12-120). This has been sitting with my watch guy for exactly 2 years waiting for the part (he is actually skilled enough to make it too but just too busy), ref. 96 black dial sold by Walser Wald during WW II. I pray for the part to appear once a week....

I was of the understanding that if all the lume material comes out of the hands, they should be repacked, otherwise, they can deform, bend out of shape, etc. I've seen chrono hands deformed, but never hour/minute hands.

A new arrival for me and my first Longines chrono. This one is a circa 1962 ref. 7414 cal 30 CH. Not perfect by any means but all the same very nice on the wrist 😀
