Currently my only automatic, which sadly doesn't get much wear. I bought it for my first job out of college without a lot of thought - Seiko 5 seemed to be the dominant recommendation for entry level mechanical watches, and the field watch style reminded me of the Timex Expedition my dad had given me as a kid.
I never liked the cathedral hands though - I thought they might grow on me, and I've tried a couple different straps but it's just never done it for me. If the vintage world had been on my radar at the time I could have found a really cool 70's Seiko or Orient for around the same price and probably would have enjoyed it a lot more. Lesson learned though - I'm hunting for my next watch with a borderline obsessive compulsive intensity 馃槄.
Put my Cincinnati鈥檚 back on. I was supposed to work this AM but took it off. Major highway issues have left me with trauma. Tuesday-Friday was backed up everyday, it was too much. Friday was the worst a truck lost its load metal scattered all over the highway shut it down for an hour then turned it into one lane. I actually timed my ride with my speedmaster it was a 3 hour ride, two of which I sat in one spot. Impressive in a way.
