Found this hidden in my rack.... turned out to be rather average..... but still went down well with some steak :0)

Nice end to a fine Saturday

 

Beating the heat with the MMMD Spritz, aka the Negroni Sambucato. I make a Negroni in a pint glass (a jigger each of Botanist gin, Campari, Cocchi vermouth, a few dashes of Scrappy's grapefruit bitters) then fill the glass with elderflower tonic water. Thirst defeated.

 

I like that! Nice mid range between a G&T and a Negroni!!

 

It's a winner! Really delicious way to stretch out a Negroni.

 

Was enjoying some local brew ,& now back home Mrs CPR has joined in with a tipple she quite likes .

 

Hibiki...oh so smooth.

 

Little pour of cask strength Writers Tears. Tons of pear with this one.

 

I'm just going to leave this here, something to try on Friday night, maybe we can all share notes on Sunday when conscious again.

Been covering a few miles and time poor again this week… But making time for some craft beer on route…. Who needs Brunel’s GWR when you can have GWB and no Tea Ern … Bring me Sunshine.... in a glass instead to match the weather :0)

 

A spectacular Belgian blonde ale. Creamy deliciousness in a textured bottle with a terrific label featuring truckin’ alligators, purple dragons and cute pink elephants. 8.7%. Killer.
