Wrist size check for SMP

Wrist is 6.75" to 6.9" depending on the temperature. This was my first luxury watch that I sold to buy 2531 (perfect fit). I miss the gorgeous ceramic dial but whenever I walk by an Omega AD to try it on again, I'm reminded why I sold it - 50mm lug to lug and the size.

I go back and forth if I should re-purchase it...

What are your thoughts on the sizing for my wrist? Thank you!

It is my opinion that the camera is too close to the wrist to make a realistc decision. Have a friend or a mirror handy and see how it looks from a few feet away.

Whenever I try for a wrist shot, the watch always looks bigger in the pic than it does in real life.

Looks fine. The lugs don't extend beyond the border of your wrist. That said, I prefer the 2531.80 over the current SMP.

Honestly it’s just on the borderline but looks ok and I’m paranoid about lug to lug. 50 ya that would scare me off but do they turn down around your wrist because it’s certainly not something you look at and say “way too big”

Size it to where you’re right in the middle of the micro-adjust. That way you can increase/decrease on the fly.

I have a much smaller wrist than you and wear a speedy and tried this on and felt fine. If Jean Claude Biver can wear a 48mm big bang at 72 I think you can rock this. Just own it baby!

No sign of grey arm hairs. Picture 5, you have slim ankles if this reflects the rest of you stop exercising and eat more pies. Eventually you will grow into the watch.

Seriously, …. it looks fine and you like it so buy and wear.😉

My wrist is around 7 inches. I think it’s a great size. I have a Black Bay 58 as well and like the size of the Seamaster better.

I have a 6.75-ish inch wrist and have the same dilemma - whenever I try on the 42mm SMP, I think it is too big for me. That being said, I feel like the 42mm Speedmaster fits my wrist well. 🤨

I used to have a 41mm Seamaster from 2008 and thought it fit well too. You wouldn't think 1mm would make a difference, but it does.
