Hello everyone, A newbie here and I'm a bit stunned. Last week I won an auction on eBay for an Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean. The price was very, very reasonable ($2425). It looks to be in great shape and the seller has a stellar profile with a great return policy. This is an older model, with the 2500 movement, and this is the version I wanted. It's 45.5mm. Other than heading over to my official Omega boutique for their 6-point check and to confirm the serial number, what else should I be doing? I've never purchased a used watch before. Thanks so much!
You could post the pics here or the Ebay listing link so people will be able to give you a better opinion
Hmm. For some reason, eBay is not allowing me to post a good link. All I would be posting here is a whole lot of extraneous pics and noise. Perhaps it's a Mac thing. Thanks for the advice. I figured the service cost in my asking price.
Just do a screenshot. Posting images in forum is preferred anyway, since external links are not persistent.
Internet 101: Passed. Of course these could be doctored, but I don't think so. Dude seems very legit, judging by his reviews.

Don’t feel bad. This is eBay redirecting your closed auction link to another auction. If you click on the word “listing” in blue at the top of the page, it will take you to the right place. Looks pretty nice to me. gatorcpa
