I have a 2500 AT and love the watch but no love for the older bracelet. I actually sold the bracelet.

If I could have a newer bracelet I would go that route. I know main concern would be the end-link fit. This got me thinking of the following from a past mod.

So 3 years ago I had a PO and put the adjustable clasp onto a 2500 bracelet. I had to buy 2 8500 links so they could attach to the clasp. One the 2500 bracelet side had the 2500 tubes and the 8500 pins were place in those then screws. The other side attached to the clasp with the 8500 pins and screws.

Anyway in theory shouldn’t I be able to do this with the a newer AT bracelet or another bracelet? (Please note I have the 21mm lug size so need to see what bracelets are out there) I Connect the 2500 side with the 2500 tubes, insert the 8500 pins in those tubes and finish off with the screw?

Does that logic sound right?
