This could possibly mean Tissot instead of Omega since it isn't Lemania, Wakmann instead of Breitling, Wittnauer instead of Longines, or Daniel Jean Richard instead of GP. Seeing as I've never owned any Longines chronographs, and I don't think you could find many GP chronos under $2K in steel if they even made any, so I'll ask:
Is it a Tissot?
(if not, it's a Wakmann just like the Breitling Long Plaing I used to own)

Well, I did have the inside track on knowing what I used to own. 😉 However, with only 8 questions to go, we need somebody who would be versed in Breitling / Wakmann sister brands. That ain't me so I'm out.

A modest workhorse Valjoux 7736 inside
The dial is very attractive. Perhaps it was designed as a simple black on white, but it comes across as charcoal brown on ice blue sunray finish - a unique and very appealing mix.
Overall, not a terribly well finished piece, like other late Breitlings, but very attractive in a functional way, and you can't beat it for esoteric. I've been hunting this one at low intensity for a few years. I know I paid more on ebay than I would have from a Swedish outlet but no regrets. Thanks to Styggpyggeno1 for his help on this one.

·Sorry Lou - did not see this until now. Congratulations! It looks like it is in perfect shape. I got in contact with the Swedish telephone companys "retired employees club" to get info on what they were used for. This is difficult in English - they used them for timing the automatic switch boards. You paid (payed?) according to time used and the switch boards were set up to intervalls. These intervalls had to be checked by personell now and then. In the beginning they used hand held chronographs. These were misplaced and lost all the time and the remedy was to issue the "timing personell" with Breitling Long Playing chronographs... Rebranded as AB Kronometer, Stockholm (AB meaning - share holding company).
Congratulations on a really nice watch! Maybe not the sexiest of uses among issued watches - not a moon watch or SAS (neither Scandinavian Airline Systems nor Special Air Service) - but still issued. And it looks a lot more expensive than what it costs. Who really need a godzillion dollar Daytona when you can get a AB Kronometer, Stockholm for a fraction and get all the girls anyway... 🤩 😀
