This appeared on my Facebook feed today. Although I can't be certain, and it's not the ugliest dial I've ever seen, I think it is a re-dial. the giveaways to my eye are the slightly uneven looking minute markers, the cross hairs not appearing aligned with the Omega symbol, and the generous amount of modern lume on the hands. Could all be an optical illusion or my own inexperience though, in which case I unreservedly apologize to the owner.
I am afraid and almost ashamed to report, that after reading and gazing upon all 95 pages of this thread over the last 2 evenings, these fonts and childlike scribbles, Bombey colors and stars askew are starting to look almost "normal". Tomorrow, I re-read, re-read, and re-read again, "Learn to Fish" and get my brain back on the straight and narrow. McK
This one is pretty good too http://www.ebay.com/itm/OMEGA-321-S...526899?hash=item4b29b8d7b3:g:HQQAAOSw23lZsmjvPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
Although the dial has been refinished, the Omega logo and script at 6 o'clock is a genuine placement. See discussion and additional links here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/omega-seamaster-converted-logo-at-6-oclock.43164/
Ahh, something I never knew, thank you for the links! If the dial wasn't black, and Seamaster wasn't in such a unusual font, I probably would have done more research about that dial. The Omega sign in this one looks particularly low too, over the minute markers.
