Someone tried to turn a Constellation Piepan dial into... a De Ville? http://www.ebay.com/itm/omega-const...274258485?pt=Wristwatches&hash=item2edce17435Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network

One would buy this knowing that the dial would need to be re-finished or replaced. Hopefully the sales price would reflect this effort needed. Looking at it just sends chills down my spine. eeeeek!
I'm seeing loads with the same Constellation script. I suspect there's a single dude sitting in his basement butchering all these connies.
At least the dude is spelling "Constellation" correctly. I saw one a year ago where it was spelled "Constallation."

Obviously a re-finished dial. This was done before I acquired this mid-50s vintage Omega. This dial probably should have been sent back to the dial finisher. Worst redial? Well, maybe not. But one of these days..........!
