Either the seller is a complete liar or he is totally ignorant...

Have you ever read such a nonsense:

    Quote:
ALSO, Watch has 2 case back Covers.

    The Original and a Replacement.

The Original got a little too tight while in storage for

    Decades." (end of quote)

Maybe the case back has shrunk when it had been washed too hot... :p

The only thing which is original is the movement plus hands - dial is an awful redo

C'mon Erich, he's a watch expert and knows about "complications", e.g.:

"**Has These Two Outstanding Features That Work The Movements Complication** :
    a) Automatic - Activates Watch by Motion or Movement.
    b) By Manual Wind - Mechanical to Activate Watch Movement."

    and

"CROWN: Both Crowns are in excellent condition. With Omega Logo."

Found this for sale on a Swiss site and remember seeing something about this somewhere in this thread. Several bits are vintage Omega, including the Grand Prix case and movement, but I don't think it left Bienne in this composition. If indeed from the unknown master in Ukraine, you have to admire the creativity used to make the dial. If not for the crazy price (1500 chf), I might have been tempted as a curiosity buy. Would be a great conversation piece at parties.

A total mess in more ways than just the dial...

I think they used an Etch-A-Sketch on this one.
