Seller states The dial is original with an interesting blemish and patina. I don’t know that an errant “20” could be considered a blemish, but whatever. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/133005879254

The reasons given was that he thought the font didn’t “ feel “ right and the thickness of the letters varied. Not wanting to mislead buyers I withdrew the watch. I bought the watch as all genuine and have always believed this to be the case. I took the watch to Watches of Switzerland in Glasgow for their opinion and the sales staff were happy that the dial was genuine. I posted the watch to Jonathon Styles of Mercer’s Jewellers in Enniskillen, one of the UKs biggest second hand Rolex and Omega dealers and the man I have all my servicing done by, and asked for his opinion. He also thought the dial was genuine. However, the question has been raised so all buyers should examine the photographs closely and satisfy themselves as to what they are buying." Oh dear. Unless the above paragraph is a total fabrication, either Messrs. Watches of Switzerland and Mercer's Jewellers told the seller this was an original dial but repainted and he "forgot" to mention the latter point in his description, or they haven't got a clue what they're talking about.
Hmm, something seems off.. https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.com/ulk/itm/254331872823
