Hi all, I'm considering this Seamaster Calendar 2849-4SC but I'm a little nervous that it's a redial. The coathanger "S" doesn't look quite angular enough, and I'm also not sure that the dial has enough patina given it's so white. On the plus side the positioning of the cross-hairs and signature look absolutely right to me - I've seen several where the vertical line doesn't perfectly intersect the Omega symbol which this appears to do. It also looks like the lume has gone completely. That doesn't bother me too much. If the price of the piece is low enough I would contemplate having it re-lumed. Perhaps it's overpolished.

Anything I've missed? Does this watch ring alarm bells for anyone?

Thanks for your words of wisdom which I have come to very much appreciate.

I needed to read that! The more time I spend here and the more I learn, the more I realise how little I know. Such is the way of things.

    Thanks again.

I think it's legit, just sort of mediocre.
