·Greetings folks.
I have an issue with a 321 Seamaster I just acquired where the chrono hand stutters/stops as it goes around the dial.
When I look at the movement through a 25x lens I can see the coupling yoke moving the coupling wheel into the chrono runner but the coupling wheel slows/stops occasionally, leading to the hand problem. The small second hand gear seems to turn smoothly so I'm wondering if the coupling wheel is loose in the yoke and/or wobbly? Is there meant to me a jewel holding in the coupling wheel as when I look closely to the center of the coupling wheel shaft (top of) all I see are what looks like 3 weld/braise dots.
Thanks in advance to those knowledgeable 321 folks & pros for helping out!
